The Waikato climate is hard on roofs. Damp mornings and shaded, tree-lined sections make perfect conditions for moss and lichen, and left alone they hold moisture against the surface and shorten the life of the coating underneath.
Soft wash, not blasting
High-pressure blasting strips coating and drives water under laps and flashings. We use a treatment-led soft wash that kills the growth at the root and lets the weather rinse it away — gentler, and it lasts longer.
It treats the cause
Scrubbing moss off only removes what you can see. The treatment we apply kills the spores, so it stays clear far longer than a mechanical clean.
Worth doing on its own
Plenty of roofs do not need painting yet — they just need a clean. If that is your situation we will say so rather than quoting you for work you do not need.
