Sometimes a roof really is done. When the steel has gone through, the coating has failed everywhere at once, or the whole thing predates the current owner by decades, painting it is throwing good money after bad. We will tell you straight which situation you are in.
An honest assessment first
Plenty of roofs that look terrible only need a wash and a repaint. We would rather quote you the cheaper job and keep you as a customer than sell you a re-roof you did not need.

Spouting done at the same time
If the roof is coming off, it is the natural time to replace tired spouting and fascia too. Doing it in one go is far cheaper than a separate visit later.
